Tarçin

Tarcin, 10 yrs old, is originally from Istanbul, a Robert College campus kitten. Adopted by Erin and Ethan, they moved to Erzurum in 2019. Along with second cat Tunç, they are now in Datça for the summer before moving back to Istanbul next month.  They are hosts to Robin, Rufus and me for our 3 day visit and both cats are remarkably tolerant of Rufus who was totally exhausted after our journey.

The road from Akbuk to Datca was beautiful, magnificent, green and mountainous almost all the way. It was a stunning ride, for nearly 5 hours.  The downside however was that our small hire car (Kia Picanto) wasn't up to the demands of the winding hilly road. This, coupled with the heat made for a less than comfortable journey especially for the woofer, although stopping for a short walk in the shade of a wooded area near Datca certainly helped.

A lovely conversational evening of catch up for the three of us ex Istanbul colleages and friends who haven't met for several years.
