Day Eleven

Up at 04.00, flight out of Halifax at 07.00 (delayed for an hour and a half) so really 08.30 ............ arrived Newark Liberty airport (US) with another nine hours to wait for my connect to London.

Business lounges don't normally let you in for more than three hours however - a result - I walked in at 11.00, they scanned my boarding card and said " enjoy your time in the lounge "  Yay!!!!   The next seven hours in comfort with free food and drink.
The lounge was almost empty so grabbed myself a cubby - first extra - and stayed there for the duration.   
Had a cooked breakfast, a cooked lunch - then another light cooked lunch late afternoon (greedy or what?) and a couple of glasses of wine, numerous cups of tea and I may have availed myself of a couple of large chocolate chip cookies at some point!!!!!

By 15.00hrs the lounge was full and people were milling about trying to find seats ........ not having mine (yet).   My flight to London was only 15 minutes delayed and I went to the gate, waited around 20 minutes (plus the 15 delay) and boarded.

Other extras today (not as many as yesterday you will be glad to see) are for lighthouse lovers.
