Spooky

I’m making a surprise Halloween blanket for my son and his gf who LOVE this holiday ( their door mat is permanently Halloween) which is a Crochet ALong or CAL and running now. I’m away mid September/ early October I thought I’d better crack on in real time too.
It’s got 4 “ spooky swirls “ squares in black and white which in the original pattern have blunt ends but someone on the CAL FB page suggested tapered spirals so I’ve made these this afternoon and just noticed they echo the coasters he brought back from Africa recently when he climbed Kilimanjaro. Did I mention he climbed Kilimanjaro???? :))
