first sighting of the season...

...for me. Monarch butterflies are rare around my neighborhood. We usually have a lot of Painted Ladies and a few Yellow Swallow Tails flitting around. But this year I haven't seen very many butterflies at all. Maybe all the rain we've been having has something to do with it.
