Sew Sad to See You Go

I don’t knit or crochet or even sew very much, just the usual things like taking up trouser hems or making the occasional cushion cover or simple curtain. However, whenever I did have the need for haberdashery then our brilliant little shop in town always had what was needed and at a very reasonable price.

So, it’s very sad that it’s closing down. The lovely lady who has run it for years is retiring and absolutely deserves to put her feet up now. I just hope she realises just how much her little shop has meant to the town. All the ladies in the shop are so friendly and if they have time, will enjoy a quick chat. It was always such a pleasure to shop there and they were always busy.

This is their display of buttons, one could buy as few as needed, no blister packs containing 6 when one only wanted two or three. There is another equally well stocked section of ribbon and trims all sold by the yard or half yard.
