First

This is the first flower from my overwintered geranium.. not sure why it has taken so long but there is still a plant with no flowers.. Pretty on a stormy day. 
Floris is battering Scotland and the 99th birthday party went ahead but the road was blocked by a fallen tree as people were leaving so they had to wait for it to be cut up and lifted off the road. Hoping the 2 hour journey after that will be without incident and that everyone gets home safely. I heard that the winds had reached over 80 mph in places .. and the trains, planes and various bridges have been stopped or closed or restricted in some way. Keep safe up there.. my daughter says there is a good amount of sunshine around which is making it easier than they had expected.
