We have rescued a tortishell butterfly from a spiders web. She’s in a box, the ‘Butterfly hospital’ with sugar water and buddlehia tops while we see if we can help untangle her crumpled wing and leg to help her fly again . We’ve all become very invested and want her to recover .
Lovely day , chatting , walking dog, coffee and home made biscuits at the bookshop, purchases of books and treats made , walked to allotments and picked and ate raspberries and black currents and then back home to bake as is traditional . Yola and I made choc nut slices and Drake and I made smoothies . Blood sugar is perfectly stable thank you !
