Pecking order!

A mainly cloudy and humid day, some sunshine. 

Had a peaceful time at the churchyard weeding the flower beds and edging the pathway, spent longer than intended! K met me there and as it was nearly lunchtime we decided to meet afterwards. Drove to Southend, then the hospital and a garden centre where I purchased a new bird feeder and fat balls. At home we had a cup of tea and cake, chatted then K went home and I went for a walk picking up litter. Two bags collected, you can tell the children are on holiday, more sweet and crisp packets around!
The blip was taken this morning after I put the feed out, sparrows usually arrive first then the heavy mob come in, starlings! The extra is a cat that visits me and had been watching the birds!
