House martin or swallow?

Day 13 and our final day in the Dordogne. A day of preparation to leave and doing all the things we hadn't yet managed to do. We popped to the local wine merchant and bought a selection of locally produced wine, a final shop for our last meal and then on to the quaint village of Tremolat and the viewpoint overlooking the Dordogne.
We'll be sorry to leave our wonderful farmhouse Gite and the flock of House Martins that entertain us all day in the fields and swooping over the pool to catch insects around the swimming pool. I have tried to get a decent blip of one of them in focus as they fly around. Today I managed but on close inspection I'm wondering whether I've been wrong and they are swallows. Any views?
Tomorrow we set off north taking a relaxed three days and night to get to Caen for our ferry.
