Storm Floris

With Storm Floris blowing in from the SW we knew Windermere,  lying north south would be very windy and unpleasant to swim in
 We selected the east west lying Rydal Water   thinking it would be sheltered by the hills to the south. But not as sheltered as we hoped. We certainly had a wild swim. Water temperature 18.5°C, pretty toasty, especially compared with 14° C in Shetland
