Postcard from Bromley

I've had to be reminded several times today that it is 4th August! I am losing track of time now.

Eileen has been looking to upgrade her phone, so we went into Bromley today to see what is out there. There are several shops that deal with refurbished iPhones, so it felt very much like Dubai, where it is easy to go from one store to another to look. In the process, I got to experience an Apple store in this country. It's so interesting that they have a robust security guard at the door over here as well! Gosh.

The morning was profitable as we gathered valuable information. I feel I've had a crash course on Apple/iPhones, never having owned one myself.

Back home, my hosts had to race to Dulwich for a dentist appointment. I worked in my new office (bottom right pic). It's fantastic! Eileen came back with a painful jaw and sadly, not all of the work was completed. She's got to go back at the end of the week.

And this evening, it's been great to use my computer skills to help with things here. :)))
