rocks...

I had a very satisfying day, drove up to North Sydney to collect some of my paintings from Juanna's gallery....we had a lovely visit.  then onto Sydney for some shopping and lunch out!   All very enjoyable....but i wasn't ready to come home!  so i stopped at the little beach down Big Harbor Road, i love sitting there by the water, reading and taking some shots.   

For the past few weeks i have been obsessed with listening to and reading what the late poet Andrea Gibson wrote!  They died a few weeks ago, at the age of 49 and I am totally stunned that i had never heard of their poems!   So profound, so moving.....and sometimes just so out there and off the wall....i have fallen a bit in love with them.....here's a poem written about 2 years ago....Andrea Gibson ....
I feel profoundly moved by the way they approached their far too early death....a movie has been made about the last year of their life... and was shown at the Sundance Film festival - it'll be out on Apple tv late November i think.
