View from Brae Lea B & B

This is the view from the guest lounge at Brae Lea Guest House.  Our host was very knowledgeable.. as he should be.  Dr. Rupert Marshall is a scientist who researches the songs of the local birds.  He also wrote the guide book we acquired from Amazon.ca before travelling: "A Guided Tour of Uist (From Eriskay to Berneray, with a day on Barra)"
The sparkly glass, placed by the previous owner, was apparently generated from a recycling project, tumbled to smooth the edges and offered to the local citizens for decorative landscaping.
And then it was time to start exploring - we were the only folk on Kildonan Beach!
