At the races ...

.... in Ballintra, Donegal near Murvagh Beach. The races haven't been run since 2019, last years fixture was cancelled due to rain & this year almost didn't happen due to Storm Floris, so it was a relief to the hardworking committee that it went ahead.
The winner in the 4th race, The Donegal Derby was Number 5 - Shake Me ridden by Casey Lou Carberry (daughter of Paul Carberry). The grey didn't feature in the end, but I liked this photo better than the finish, because both horses have all 4 hooves in the air temporarily.
The extra is the winner from the 5th race, Mr Bean ridden by Paul Finnegan (aged 13), he won convincingly.
