Goathland Sign

Today was lovely... rare day off for both of us as we decided to make use of the steam train station that we walk past and admire all the time but rarely actually use. So we took Jasper on his first train ride -- he seemed unimpressed to be honest. We went to Goathland, most famous for being Aidensfield in Heartbeat and Hogwarts Station in the Harry Potter films. Very picturesque. This sign is by the bridge just outside the station.

Once back home I had a couple of pints with a friend whose draft novel I've been reading (very good by the way, and he says he's going to name a character after me in the next draft) then a curry round at ours for our friends Mike and Amanda, as it's the latter's birthday this weekend.
