Must see on Barra

We took a day trip to Barra, a short ferry ride from Eriskay.  One of the "must-dos", and we did, is go to Barra Airport, reputed to be the only beach airport with scheduled flights - 2 each day from Glasgow.  the flight times vary with the tide.  We watched a flight in, and the return flight leaving.  I spoke with 2 fellows who had flown in - both shared that the beach runway is very smooth.
