Sunday

We set off around 10.30 picking up T&P on the way.  Arrived at Winchester around lunchtime and it was good to see F&R again.  She had laid on buffet lunch and we ate and chatted.  No wine as we were going to head into Winchester for a bimble around.  The weather was a bit mixed but we walked along the river and meandered around the lanes (past Jane Austen's house) and enjoyed tea and cake in a wonderful tea shop in the cathedral grounds.

Back for wine and dinner and more chat until bed time - I lasted until midnight which is around two hours later than usual bedtime.

Lovely day with lovely friends.
