Johnshaven

We were going to go to Stonehaven today, but when we arrived it was absolutely packed, there must have been some event taking place. We decided to proceed a little further south along the coast to Johnshaven.

It was almost lunchtime when we arrived, and knowing that the Anchor Inn is quite popular for lunches we decided to head straight to the pub. As we are in a small fishing village we obviously chose fish for lunch.

When we arrived we had noticed there were several artists painting views of the shoreline. This photograph was taken later in the afternoon when these paintings seem to be largely complete.

As it was a warm sunny afternoon we stayed here several hours.
