Storm Floris...

...has passed. We had a potting shed with three windows, we now have a potting shed with two windows and a serving hatch. I'll go out this afternoon to inspect the policies for damage. I hold little hope for the raspberry canes.

Murdo has developed a fear of wasps. Yesterday he went berserk when one came near him. Today he was spooked again and the guy we were walking with pointed out a wasp on Murdo's shoulder, it was despatched without him getting stung but he was far from happy. He made a bee line for the car (no irony intended)

Off shortly to an award winning butchers in Boghall Bathgate. Their pies are nothing short of amazing if the good people on facebook are to be believed. Will advise....

Found the butchers eventually, the very devil of a place to locate. It was rammed. Purchases were made. Tonight's dinner will be....will advise.

Bathgate is down at heel, no getting away from it. The streets are awash with boys, neds, adults all wearing hoodies over their heads (even in bright sunshine)., hundreds of them. Very sinister.
