Holly Blue

I went leaping (yeah right!) into garden after a Large White butterfly and this the Holly Blue landed near me in a Blipfoto takeover bid.

It’s resting on a fig leaf with proboscis extended. I wonder what salts or minerals or moisture it is collecting from the leaf surface
