Went up to the allotment early, principally to see if the shed had blown down (it hadn't - phew!). Did a bit of picking and watering. The squashes are coming on - two different plants. The one on the right here, on a neat little bush plant I recognise as a Zapallito di Toscana (Heritage seed, which I've grown before), but the one on the left, on the immense trailing plant, is still a mystery. Think there were only two kinds I could have planted - if it goes kind of grey green and a funny shape it's a Queensland Blue and if it grows warts it's a Marina di Chioggia. Can't see either of those happening yet.....
