More Berries

I'm resisting using the 'A' word as it's only August 5th and should be high summer. However, plants are racing to ripen berries already, including my Cotoneaster.

A mixed day for me; a few hours work on the laptop, then a coffee in town with my lovely neighbour and friend Ann.

At home in the afternoon, I was vacuuming when my Shark cleaner made a strangulated noise and gave up. I then spent half and hour taking bits off it and cleaning out the filters, but I'm not holding out much hope for its revival.
