Back in the basement

Maud was,as expected, not happy about a new cat in her space. I was prepared for that and could work on her. But poor Carlos got completely stressed out about Maud being the gnarly, growling lady she is. So he did his only stressolution he knows, he spread his own odour everywhere :-/ 
I tried what I could, I know most tricks in the book. But those two made each other just worse. And both being fiv-cats, Maud being a senior, too, the stress could easily take a toll on their health. So Carlos moved back to the basement for now and he seems more calm and relaxed already. 
There is a new fosterhome close by that can take him in late next week
