Lanercost

Run this morning was great, if a bit windy. Shower and quick coffee than off to another English Heritage. Lanercost Priory is wonderful, been many times but unfortunately the coffeeshop now not open on a Tuesday, so disappointing. The lady at the EH reception suggested we went another four miles to Birdoswald as they had a nice coffeeshop. Service was really slow, in fact they forgot to bring my lunch and had to ask twice and then the soup was not good.
We had a walk around the site, which was good and the view are fantastic.
Still windy but dry and pleasantly warm.
