Toots in Solitude

By Toots

I had to wait around a bit this morning so thought I'd listen to an audio book but then needed something to do with my hands so got out my knitting case to decide what I could begin knitting.
In the afternoon I bumped into Hugh who told me that they have just sold their cottage up north, a long on-going thing, and in passing he had found out that a neighbour just up the road in Merchiston came from Sandend (Sa'nine), was born there in fact. I became all nostalgic. Every time Lady Findhorn and HL spent time up there I couldn't get enough of her blips.
Donald enjoyed his library session again today and returned home with thick tomes on the Dam Busters, I know he'll love dipping into them.
