We got away at 11, having to pick garden produce for friends, pack our bags and then the car.

While Mr C drove down the A1 I kept busy by planning a route for our September van trip.

I scrolled on Facebook to find I’d had two likes - From Martin Sheen (a heart!)and Bradley Whitfield no less.

We arrived in Ipswich just after 5 which wasn’t too bad considering the heavy traffic. We unpacked the car and Mr C drove off to find a street which had parking - they live on a busy road with double yellow lines.
Carole was at a council meeting till 7 so we had a good chat with David. It was lovely to see them. Carole had made a veggie lasagne for dinner which was kind of her to forgo the meat.
