Ash

Last night the smoke blowing up from fires in Colorado was terrible. I had to sleep with my windows shut because of the smell and so it was a warm night. This morning there was a fine layer of ash on the back deck. I noticed it in this spider's web too. I hope for a clearer night tonight.
Jim and I made a big haul to Mom's and I've been cleaning my house and making a gf spice cake. Tomorrow is my birthday and I'm having the session folks over here for some music :-)
I'm going up in the Snowies for a morning hike so I'll have mountains and music with some more baking in between.
