Shugborough

Chris has a couple of much needed days off so, after a trip to the gym for him and a swim for me, we had lunch and then picked up Dad. 
The weather forecast was for a warm, sunny afternoon but when we arrived at Shugborough, it was cloudy and quite chilly. Fortunately, I'd packed a waterproof which helped me keep warm. The rain stayed away and we had an enjoyable walk around the grounds, gardens and the mansion. Dad treated us to a cuppa and a delicious cake and then we headed home.
