Met Ju at a large garden centre for coffee and then to look for plants for the pond. I wasn’t particularly inspired and was just about to leave when a sales assistant arrived. He was very knowledgeable and helpful and I ended up with everything I needed. We didn’t hang around there as it was very windy and a bit chilly. I cleared as much as I could of the mud which had settled in the pond when I got home, then had lunch and carried all the bags and boxes for tomorrow’s charity event downstairs- 14 in total!
Drove up to N’s to meet L and H and her husband. We negotiated the key safes, padlocks etc without issue and loaded up L and H’s cars, managing to leave mine empty so that I could hopefully get everything at my house into my car in one load.
Got home and loaded my car and then did a couple of hours gardening as it was nice and sunny by then.
EB of Billie. I am hoping to get rid of this cat tree as I don’t really have a space for it but she has suddenly developed an affection for the small round hammock on it. As you can see she is really too big and heavy for it!
