River crossing completed

As planned, I did not accompany Mrs TT on the group walk. It is a hot and quite difficult hike and I knew that I would not be able to get back and turn around for a possible couple of hours of tennis in the third round of the tournament. I was in two minds as I am unlikely to win this match but I chose the sensible option! Instead, I caught up with a few jobs at home and then went for a stroll down to the river. The last time I was in this spot, you had to leap from rock to rock but now they have put some connecting metal grills in place. Nevertheless, there is a big notice saying that the Mairie takes no responsibility for accidents and that you use the crossing at your own risk.
