Left on the shelf
This thing is 49: I have never seen a camera this old look so smart. My best guess is it was bought by an amateur (most were of course despite their reputation, and also I can't imagine a professional buying one with a plain (unmetered) prism by 1975-76) who then realised they wanted something smaller / lighter / with a meter or just was not very interested in photography, and it sat on their shelf until they died when it got sold from the estate.
It really is stupidly clean and shiny.
