Wall Lizard

Having completed the decorating, today was a leisurely stroll into Ventnor town for coffee and friendly chats with locals and shopkeepers. I decided to walk home along the revetment where I saw many wall lizards either basking in the sun or scurrying along. Locals call them Ventnor Lizards. When I looked them up I discovered that Ventnor was indeed the first location they were discovered in the 1920’s. It’s thought they came from Italy. .
