Tiny hoverfly

A lovely sunny day.  I enjoyed the usual Zumba morning class and returned home for a late breakfast.  A quiet afternoon sorting images from my trip in June, I'm very behind.  I took this image of a very tiny bee or is it a hoverfly I'm not sure on our lavender bush.  The lavender is very large and there are a large number of bumble bees and other bees feeding on it as well.  It's right next to the front door so we had to shave a little off on one side when our grandchildren came last week.
