Little Bear Family

More bears! This time we were at the in-laws house ( just down the road from home) and saw the first bear (extra) on our evening walk. He gave a good look at Whidbey (our dog) and might have thought he was a long lost sibling but ultimately ignored us.

The second sighting was the mom and her 2 cubs! I left the big camera on the counter at home, unfortunately, but that seems like good luck for seeing wildlife! This sighting was just after we got in the car to go home. Luckily we left right on time to get whidbey in the car before the bears came walking by. He was off leash to get in the car so a bit of a near miss, he will be leashed from now on!

We think the bear in the extra is a different one because the mom has a brown nose and was slightly shorter than him. Always excited to see these guys!
