Summits up

A strenuous ten miles over some lovely Montgomeryshire hills. We started across the border in Shropshire at the Mitchell's Fold stone circle and walked down to Lan Fawr, then up the really steep slopes of Roundton hill to the Iron Age hillfort at the top. The final, and longest climb, was to the top of Corndon with magnificent views across the Vale of Montgomery to the west and east to the Stiperstones and the Long Mynd.
