Had to

I had to go to Whitehaven this morning, so here is another one of the Solway, but south this time.  Nice and bright, but in the Lakes it was cloudy, full of tourists so busy.  I had decided to go through Borrowdale, Honister Pass and on to Buttermere.  The number of cars and people, sheep in the road and branches down from Storm Floris worried drivers not used to narrow roads and sheep!  For me it was a great day, out and about enjoying the scenery.  If it wasn't for the timed appointments i would have been earlier. Oh yes, I had a haircut!
