Had an unexpected, and lovely day on The Thames today. My friends K & T left their mooring at Sunbury and were headed downstream to join the Grand Union Canal at Brentford. I thought I'd go and wave as they passed by at Surbiton. However I jumped aboard and went all the way to Brentford Lock with them. We went through the Lock at Teddington and joined the tidal Thames. We passed by Ham House, Eel Pie Island and Richmond to name but a few places. The weather was glorious and it was an idyllic trip.
