Wow!

What a view! This was from the office restaurant on the 19th floor of business premises in Southwark where we visited today. A grand piano and a telescope to boot!

We then had a lovely time in Covent Garden, stopping for tea and cake, watching the many visitors and having a very interesting conversation with our waiter.

This evening after dinner we’ve played Slapzi, a brilliant card game, “ the fast- matching, card- slapping, everyone-laughing picture game” and have indeed done a great deal of laughing! The best medicine!

My mouth/gum is healing but is still quite raw. Stitches out on Friday….
