Beetroot

I think the beetroot seeds were in a multipack & I didn’t notice they were varied colours. It’s quite strange having orange & white beetroot but they’re very sweet & tasty.
J & I spent the day in the garden tidying mole hills around the pond & putting the reeds back into the water after the spillway repair.
I dug out my broad beans because they’d been affected by rust over the last week.
Not sure if it’s too late to plant anything in their place now.
James came to look at putting in a new soak away for our septic tank, he’s come up with a good idea but it entails asking our neighbouring farmer if we can run it along the edge of his field adjacent to our fence, hope he’s in a good mood when I approach him.
