Birthday Boy!

Today is Sammy's 13th birthday! We're all so pleased to be able to celebrate with him. We were up to watch him open his gifts and cards. Later Harry and Isabelle, and Anth and Trev joined us. Just a gorgeous low key day with the kids enjoying being together, making the most of the games house, the bikes, being together... And later a fire in the fire pit.

Today I'm grateful for;
1) Knowing Sammy all these years. Extra is a speedy selfie he took of us this afternoon.
2) A late afternoon bath, with Han sliding a coffee through the window onto the ledge to me, mid bath.
3) Watching all the kids together, Piers kids included. They have all loved being together. And the games room/house has been such a brilliant extra. It's felt like their clubhouse in the garden. They'll have good memories of this time away.
