Memories

James sent me this picture today with the caption 'As good as a wedding photo'.  It made me cry thinking back to last year around this time when Aimee was a bridesmaid to her best friend.  I was so worried about the day; would she be ok, would she have another seizure, would she be too tired.......... but all my fears were groundless and she looked beautiful, danced all night and loved the day, probably kept going through adrenaline!

They were a beautiful couple and had a wonderful future ahead of them but sadly not to be.  

My day was a visit to see my niece L and baby Theo.  Both sisters were also visiting and we had a lovely day catching up.  I haven't seen Theo since the christening and he is such a sweetie, so contented and a happy chap.  L talked about returning to work, she is not keen and they don't want her and she hopes to engineer a pay off  (interesting how she talked about her unsatisfactory work relationships and it made me think of how much Aimee was loved by her bosses and work colleagues).  

Home by 6.00 and a quick turn around with dinner (M&S chicken kiev and veg - thank you OH) then out for Book Club with gym people.  Interesting characters, only my second time but there are definitely some I like more than others!!
