Iona
A golf course with a view! We spent the day today on Iona. Weather-wise it was the best day of the week so far, being dry and sunny. We walked over to Columba's Bay on the south of the island. This took us across the golf course on the west of the island where sheep form extra hazards! The path then took us up onto the moor where the heather was starting to flower (first extra), then down to the stony Columba's Bay (second extra). There is a labyrinth set out at the back of the beach which we both walked. On the way back we stopped at a beach to look for cowrie shells, finding a number, then it was back on the ferry and back to the caravan and out for a lovely meal at the Bunessan Inn.
