Snow White and the Not-So Dwarfs...

... with a week still to run of the Edinburgh International Festival, we see here a performance of Snow White and Three of the Seven Grown-up Dwarfs. A Festival favourite, performed in its original German with the musical score provided by the Polynesia & Pacific Rim Nose-Flue Orchestra of Notting Hill.

Once again the International Festival programme proving such a hit with the audience that Arts Council grants are up and ticket sales are down. A spokesman for the Arts Council of Great Britain was quoted as saying 'It simply wouldn't do catering for the masses, clearly the programme is designed to push the boundaries and challenge the preconceptions of the stay-away audience. The programme is aimed at our close circle of friends in North London (Sophie, Timothy and Sebastian) for whom pretention is more important that enjoyment, not to mention a nice weekend away in the provinces at the taxpayers expense!'.

Double Pimms all round, hurrah!

A Grim tale indeed boys and girls, the brothers would be turning in their grave, 53 times at a wild guess!!
