The Garden Centre II

Today we took Violet to the garden centre that had the power outage yesterday.  Everything being back to normal now, after lunch she chose a lovely Botanical Art watercolour art pad  by RHS and was happy with that after the disappointment that the Halloween display had barely  been started: it is after all, only early August!
Once home V did a couple of paintings (along with her uncle) and they may appear as tomorrow's abstract!
Btw: we did manage to buy a crocosmia 'Lucifer', which if it takes will be a welcome sight amongst the sea of orange that besieges our garden at this time of year.
