Beak House ‘Pond’

It’s been a while since I blipped Beak House (foreground) and the pond at the 4th but I had two excuses for doing so today: firstly, as you can see, the pond has been dredged and run dry in the recent hot weather meaning you can, if you’re brave, try and play your ball out of it should it land in there - not wise, as Phil found out; secondly I managed to hole my pitch shot over the pond from about 50 yards for a rare birdie 3. Sadly, neither Phil or Henri witnessed it as they were busy fishing Henri’s ball out of the ditch!

I finished the round 7 under my handicap meaning I had another shot docked off it, the second this week. Seem to be on a decent streak at the moment.
