Spuds

Got my first proper soaking going for the paper this morning - 10 minutes of downpour and wet through. Still, it was warm and I was going home so quick change and hand everything over the Aga.

Made some progress fixing my broken Brooks with the rails from a sad old thing from eBay. The leather's gone but the rails are perfect. Riveted the rails onto my leather but I may yet be defeated getting the nose bolt into place. The whole saddle needs to be stretched to get the bolt in and I haven't found a way to hold the thing in place while I use a clamp to pull the saddle back.
