Today was the public inquest into the death of our friend who "died as a result of his own actions". That was the narrative verdict returned by the coroner, rather than the pre-defined verdict of 'suicide'. It's a small but significant difference, supported by evidence presented to the court, which gave some comfort to his family, and to me
We agreed that it is better that the day is behind us rather than in front of us. No-one said 'closure'
One of our grandsons was measured for his first shoes today. The other one said 'potato'
