Climbing

The whole family was busy in the garden today.

A big branch came off the horse chestnut tree (Luke wasn’t in his hammock at the time) so that needed chopping up. Then there was the annual cutting back of the Boston Ivy which covers the whole of the front of our house and requires the use of a double ladder. Sarah, Luke and Chris did that, thankfully. I cut back the climbing hydrangea at the back. Merry was keen to try rhe ladder, too (there was a red ball at the top..)
