Anniversaries & Birthdays

Today would have been my Dads 92nd birthday, hard to believe he’s been gone 16 years!

My sis & BiL got married on Dads birthday, it’s their 43rd Wedding Anniversary today.
If I’m honest, one that at various points of the last 12 months I thought they might not make!

Thank goodness here we all are, still going.
Sis has her 6 month check up next Wed. & BiL has his body scan results next Fri, I’ve got everything crossed.

It’s been a tough few years when I think about it, times like these are when you really miss having your Dad around :-(

I kept myself busy cleaning windows this morning, then packed my bags, before heading to my hairdresser for a cut & blow afterwards I went straight on to the Woodhead pass over to Sheffield then on to Lincoln :-)

Today’s blip was a quick one handed snap out the car windscreen, nothing coming the other way, as I climbed up towards the summit on Woodhead….. the heather is appearing, faint purple hues but not in all its glory yet!
