A big hole

There is a big hole next to the curb on the house next door across the alley. It has been filled with dirt for who knows how long. Last week someone came and dug it out. It looks like there has been some sort of collapse. The tree cutters came yesterday and today to remove the two trees (one dead) that were next to the street. I will have a clearer view of the park now. I sure hope the city gets out and fixes this! The stump grinder made a lot of noise so I was glad when it was finished.
The extra is from last night. A very fun session was had at my house and the deck was a perfect accommodation.
Today I was exhausted but needed to head out to Mom's to help with packing. It was one of those days that felt very discouraging. There is just so much still to pack or be gotten rid of. Maybe they will rent a big dumpster and we can chuck a lot of stuff at once. Sigh.
